the dot
the dot has been there for quite some time now...i honestly can't be bothered anymore to remove it, or have it removed. it's kind of made its place there, and who am i to change history? maybe the dot defines it...who knows, without the dot, things may never have been the same. it's not very big...not screaming for attention, nope, not at all...but it IS there...you can feel its presence...it's small, but significant in some way. and it cant be mistaken for anything else...it's not like a tiny line, or a mark...no, it's definitely a dot. i doubt anyone will ever bother to remove it over the years...and why would they, it's not doing anyone any harm...
or is it?
what if the dot is responsible for all of this...what if the dot symbolizes the misery, the pain, the suffering...what if the dot is behind all the chaos in the world??? what if the dot IS evil incarnate?
so...will i wipe it out? or will i leave it there?

it's all a matter of misconception, really. the dot is just--not quite understood. it was backed into a corner, and now it's sobbing softly: 'i'm not bad, i'm just drawn that way.' (i'll give you a gold star if you name that movie.)
what if the 'i' lost its dot?poor little helpless dot--who's to say the dot is the evil mis-placed neighbour? who's to say the dot doesn't belong, but you and i do? maybe it is, in fact, you and i who aren't meant to be here. in which case, the dot might be wanting to wipe us out. which is where the dot begins to gain this 'evil' persona, when all it's trying to do is
survive.
